Narendra Modi was born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar. Narendra Modi's father's name is Damodar Das Moolchand and mother's name is Heera Ben. Narendra Modi's father was a very ordinary person. Narendra Modi used to set up a tea stall at the railway station with his father. He was a skilled speaker. Modi completed his schooling from Vadnagar, and graduated in political science. After leaving home, Narendra Modi started the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), where he started working as an organizer all the time. In 1985, Narendra Modi was admitted to BJP by RSS. In 1988, Narendra Modi was made the organizing secretary of Gujarat. In 1995, BJP got a lot of support in Gujarat elections with the contribution of Narendra Modi. Due to which Narendra Modi was made the National Secretary in 1995 and from here Shri Narendra Modi turned to New Delhi, it was not easy to get such a big responsibility to the young leader. From where Narendra Modi took over the work of the five states of the country. From 1998-2001, Narendra Modi was the General Secretary. Keshubhai Patel took over the power of Gujarat in the election of 1998 due to the full support of Narendra Modi.
